Karisma Kapoor Travels to Delhi for Ex-Husband Sunjay Kapur's Prayer Meet

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor journeyed to Delhi today to attend the prayer meet for her former husband, Sunjay Kapur. Sunjay, a prominent industrialist, tragically passed away on June 12th after suffering a heart attack while engaged in a polo match in London. His final rites were conducted on June 19th in New Delhi, with Karisma and their children present.

Karisma Travels with Samaira and Kiaan

Karisma Kapoor was seen at Kalina airport on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by her daughter Samaira and son Kiaan, as they departed for the capital.

Kareena and Saif Spotted at the Airport

Shortly after Karisma and her children were seen, her sister Kareena Kapoor, along with brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, were also observed at the airport. The couple is also expected to participate in the prayer meet held in Delhi. Dressed in simple, respectful attire, they appeared composed as they proceeded to their flight. The prayer gathering is scheduled to take place from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.

Sunjay Kapur’s funeral was held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. The service was attended by close relatives and friends, including Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It was a somber occasion as the family bid their final farewells.

Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12th while playing polo in London. Initial reports indicate he suffered a heart attack during the match. Although some reports suggested a bee sting may have contributed to the cardiac arrest, there has been no official confirmation regarding the precise cause of death.
